TFcon is very proud to announce that our 2014 charity auction was able to raise $8000.37 for Make-A-Wish® Canada. We are very proud of everyone in our community that contributed to make this amazing feat happen.
Make-A-Wish® Canada creates magical moments for children between the ages of 3 and 17, living with life threatening medical conditions, through granting a child’s one true wish. Make-A-Wish® strives to create hope, strength and joy by giving a child a much needed respite from being sick, allowing them to experience the wholesome enjoyment of just being a “kid” again.
Make-A-Wish impacts the lives of families when they need to know that their community cares about what they are going through, as their child battles for his or her life.
Make-A-Wish exists for one reason only – to grant wishes to children living with life-threatening medical conditions. Thanks for helping to share the power of a wish®!
One of the many drones created by TOXIN to watch his skidplate while he plots something bigger then his fellow Destrons can ever understand. PESTILENCE much like the cyber laser he was forged from, is fast, exact and sharp. When many of these units are together, their AI become one and try to work as a team to destroy their target. Wearing 2 turbo boots on each side of it’s super structure helps PESTILENCE get that jolt of speed needed to knock-down it’s prey before snuffing out it’s spark or dragging it’s shell of a body to TOXIN for some experiments. Due to it being a drone, it’s not used to unique situations or bots that are straight up unpredictable. While in groups, their AI will try to work together, but also makes all surrounding units function in a similar fashion, making the pack as a whole very easy to read.
There are still spots available for the TFcon Toronto 2014 customizing classes that will take you through the real customizing process from start to finish, taking a toy and transforming it into a new character. Using paint, stickers and several hours of focus, all skill levels can learn how to create their own custom toy in this class where everything you need will be provided. Please report to South Studio 3 at 9 am on Friday if you are interested.
It is with great regret that we must inform the attendees of TFcon Toronto 2014 that Sue Blu has broken her leg and will not be able to travel to Toronto for this weekend. Her doctor has told her absolutely no traveling. There are 10 screws in her leg and it would be dangerous to fly because of a potential blood clot.
As a result of this turn of events Sue is going to try and Skype into her scheduled panel times this year so she can join us remotely from LA. Please find the video that Sue has made for everyone below.
