Dan will be setup in the artist alley all weekend sketching and signing for the attendees of TFcon.

TFcon is happy to welcome back Transformers toy designer and artist Marvin Mariano to the 2011 convention.  Marvin’s  involvement with the Transformers franchise includes concept works and toys designs for the Transformers Crossovers line.  Examples of Transformer characters he has  worked on are: Obsidian (Beast Machines), Transtech/Armada – Optimus, Megatron, Cheetor, Black Arachnia, Shockwave, and Starscream to name a few.  Marvin will be setup in the TFcon artist alley all weekend.

The 2nd TFcon 2011 exclusive is Toxin!
When Lord Zarak needed someone to help copy the Headmaster and Transtector technology that Stronghold pioneered, he turned to Toxin. Toxin biggest claim to fame back on Cybertron was the mass cloning process of Reflector which bulked out Megatron‘s army during the early days of the war. He made 3 special clones for himself Edge, Shield and Bullet (Dubbed the NIGHT OPS SFX) as his hired goons to help get him needed “materials” for future experiments.
All was going well for Toxin till he along with Lord Zarak got captured by the Autobots. His personal Transtector body was destroyed in the scuffle and now he hopes to break free and commandeer a new one.

Produced by Head Robots, you can now give your headless G1 figures a much needed upgrade.  This figure is limited to only 100 pieces and limited to one per attendee.

Thanks to the fine folks at The Perth Mint TFcon 2011 will be giving away Transformers Collectible Coins  as first prizes in our costume, 2D art and 3D customs contests this year.  Our 1st, 2nd and 3rd place customs contest winners will also go home with custom trophies to commemorate their victories.  The other categories will go home with original Transformers comic book art thanks to comic book artist Alex Milne.
